My minor in Women's & Gender Studies compliments my goal of creating medical technology for underrepresented and/or marginalized communities with my studies focusing on social determinants of disability and disease.

Project lead for the wheelchair adaptations team September 2023 to May 2024 aimed at converting the a hospital style wheelchair into an all terrain wheelchair. Vice President duties include finding, onboarding, and interfacing with the club's disabled co-designers in addition to running General Body Meetings. Led product design and biomechanics workshops in addition to mentoring the lower limb prosthetics and wheelchair adaptations teams. Conducted design reviews and hosted public showcases at the end of every semester.
Mechanical systems and design mentor for FIRST Robotics Team #9143 in San Francisco California. Activities include leading robotics design seminars and hosting systems design critiques in addition to aiding in grant writing and general mechanical support during competitions.
